Why don't I see you in the hospitals and schools like in the old
days?
While our mission has not changed, our ministries have evolved to reflect the changing needs of society. You may not see a Sister on every patient floor of a hospital, but we serve on the boards of hospitals and health care systems to assure that the values that have made Catholic health care distinctive continue today. We may not be in every classroom, but we provide influence through leadership roles in Catholic schools and universities as teachers, administrators and board members, and through legislative and advocacy initiatives in support of education.
