Ministry

CSJ Lorren Harden - Alt High Schoo. The work that we do as Catholic sisters is more than just a job. The work that we do, our “ministry,” is focused on serving God and the people of God. Our ministries, in the areas of education, healthcare, social service, pastoral service, and support service are an expression of our mission.

Mother of Giod MonasteryAs Benedictine monastic women, we listen with the ear of our hearts as we call for compassion and justice for all immigrant people. We are compelled to raise our voices in an effort to transform the culture of fear and exculsion into one of peace and inclusion where the “stranger” becomes friend. Sisters of the Presentation of the BVMAs an apostolic congregation and in the spirit of the Apostles, we are dedicated to ministering to the needs of the people while living among them. In the words of Bishop Walsh, we go where we are needed, but not necessarily wanted and stay until we are wanted, but no longer needed. That is the apostolic spirit!
